Mixtape Theology
As part-devotional & part-90’s retrospective, Mixtape Theology is an exercise in going deeper into the Bible verses behind our favorite 90s CCM songs resulting in a fuller understanding of God and His redemptive plan. We also poke fun and reminisce about what made the 90s Christian culture so awesome. Hosted by Dr. Ashley Mofield & Rachel Cash. We're part of the New Release Today (NRT) Podcast Network. Mixtape Theology
David Crowder Band's Come Thou Fount with guest Cameron Frank
Hymns are a treasure. Passed down via generations for hundreds of years, singing these songs remind us that we are part of a brotherhood and sisterhood of believers across time and space. Singing hymns invites us to worship with the choruses and lyrics that were sung by those that have come before us and yet experienced the same fundamental challenges that we do today. Let's explore the timeless theology of the Holy Spirit as we look at David Crowder Band's 1998 cover of Come Thou Fount, which was written in the 1700s. Host, Rachel Cash, is joined by special guest Cameron Frank of A Frank Voice, author of The Trinity Project, a series of devotionals based on classic hymns in partnership with Nathan Drake of Reawaken Hymns.
Find hardcopy, ebook or audiobook of The Trinity Project on Amazon, Audible, Spotify, and AFrankVoice.com. Reawaken Hymns and the music from the The Trinity Project is available wherever you stream music.
